Independence 110 · Under construction in Rayong, Thailand

A brand-new 110ft superyacht in about five months — not three years. And the interior is still yours to choose.

34 metres with an extraordinary 11-metre beam. Three decks, five cabins, an integrated swimming pool and a 1.3m draft. USD 6,500,000, construction already well advanced — so you can walk the hull before you commit anything.

Buying at this size usually forces one of two compromises

You commission a new build, hand over a deposit, and spend two to three years looking at renders. Yard delays are somebody else’s problem until suddenly they are yours. By the time she splashes, your circumstances have moved on.

Or you buy brokerage. She is available now, but she was built around a previous owner’s taste. Their layout. Their finishes. Their compromises. You spend the first year and a good deal of money undoing decisions you had no part in.

There is rarely a third option. This is one.

The third option

Far enough along to be certain about. Early enough to still be yours.

The Independence 110 is in build now in Rayong, Thailand. Hull, superstructure and layout are established, so you can stand on all three decks and understand exactly what you are buying. But she is roughly five months from completion, which means interior layouts, cabin configuration, finishes and a number of design details are still open for discussion.

The certainty of a yacht you can walk. The influence of a yacht you commissioned.

What owning her actually looks like

Sunday, somewhere off Koh Chang

Twelve guests aboard and the boat does not feel full. The pool is in use, lunch is being served on the aft deck, and two people have found a corner of the flybridge where nobody can find them. Nobody is queueing for anything.

At anchor, overnight

An 11-metre beam on twin hulls does not roll the way a monohull does. Guests who normally take something before bed sleep straight through. That one difference is what people remember about a catamaran at this size.

Where the big monohulls cannot follow

A 1.3-metre draft puts you inside anchorages a 34-metre monohull simply cannot enter. You are closer in, in shallower water, on your own, while the deep-draft fleet sits out in the channel.

Why the 11-metre beam matters more than the length

  • Volume normally found on much larger yachts. Beam creates usable space, not length. She feels considerably bigger than 34 metres, inside and out.
  • Three levels of genuine living space — a full-beam main salon with floor-to-ceiling glazing, a large aft entertainment deck, a spacious flybridge lounge, and an expansive stern terrace created by the twin-hull configuration.
  • Stability at anchor that a monohull of this length cannot match — the single biggest factor in whether guests enjoy a multi-day trip.
  • Efficiency underway. A twin-hull platform is materially more efficient than a comparable monohull, and that shows up in every season of running costs.
  • Charter-capable. Five large cabins, twelve guests and dedicated crew accommodation make her suitable for boutique charter as well as private use.
  • An integrated swimming pool on a 34-metre catamaran — rare at this length, and the thing guests photograph first.

Who you are dealing with

We are twenty minutes from this boat

SeaSearcher Marine is a Thailand-based catamaran builder and yacht brokerage. Our office is in Rayong, where this yacht is being built. Every yacht on our books is walked, opened up and photographed by us before it goes live — the specification you read is the boat you will find.

That matters more than usual here. You are considering a yacht that is not finished. You need somebody standing on it who has no reason to flatter it.

  • Inspected in person, not listed from a seller’s PDF
  • No buyer’s premium and no listing fees
  • Independent survey and yard access arranged on request
  • Same-day answers on WhatsApp, Thailand time

Come and walk her before you decide anything

We would rather you saw her than took our word for it. Serious buyers are welcome at the yard while construction is underway. Bring your own surveyor, your captain, your partner, your designer — whoever is going to be honest with you.

Standing between the hulls and looking up at three decks tells you more in ten minutes than any brochure. If she is not right for you, you will know quickly, and that is a good outcome too.

Nothing is asked of you before that visit. No deposit, no exclusivity, no pressure.

One hull. Roughly five months. A closing window.

This is a single yacht, not a production run, and it is the customisation that is time-sensitive rather than the boat itself. Every week of construction closes off another decision — layout first, then joinery, then finishes.

A buyer who moves now still has meaningful input into the interior. A buyer who waits until she is finished is buying somebody else’s yacht — at which point the third option we have been describing no longer exists.

Questions we are asked most

Can I really still change the interior?

Yes, within limits that shrink as the build progresses. Layout and cabin configuration need deciding soonest; finishes and joinery stay open longer. We will tell you honestly what is still on the table the day you ask.

What happens to my money before delivery?

Payment structure is agreed in writing before anything moves, with stages tied to construction milestones. We will walk you through it in detail, and we would expect you to have your own lawyer review it.

Can I bring my own surveyor?

We would encourage it. Independent survey and yard access can be arranged at any stage of construction.

Can she be run as a charter yacht?

Five large cabins, twelve guests and dedicated crew quarters make her well suited to boutique charter. We can talk through what commercial operation involves in this region.

I am not in Thailand. Is that a problem?

No. Most of our buyers are overseas. We will send detailed photography and video, walk the boat on a live video call, and help arrange the trip when you are ready to see her.

What is not decided yet?

The engine package is still to be confirmed, which is one of the things a buyer can influence. Ask us and we will send the current build status in full.
